BRAND GROUPIE REPORT: Trader Joe’s

Let’s not even mention the $3 wines.
I scooted past the local large-size organically packed supermarket today because I needed to stock my wine cooler. With some extra time on my hands, I decided to peruse the personal care aisle and came across the Trader Joe’s Tea Tree Tingle Shampoo and Conditioner, and for around $4 each decided to give them a shot. Well let me tell you – like the $2.97 Chardonnay and Pinot Grigio I recently lugged with me to the Jazz Festival, I was pleasantly surprised. As far as performance (cleanliness, texture post-wash), these products are up there on the list of more luxury-priced brands that I won’t name.
Plus I really like the in-store experience. I’m not pestered while I browse the store, and when I finally make my purchases the cashiers are friendly. Not too little, not too much. I always feel like I’ve discovered some great shopping secret reserved for only the very savvy.
Great products. Affordable. Easy shopping. Two thumbs up for Trader Joe’s.
